Two Zener diodes ( A and B ) having breakdown voltages of 6 V and 4 V respectively, are connected as shown in the circuit below. The output voltage V 0 variation with input voltage linearly increasing with time, is given by ( V i n p u t = 0 V a t t = 0 )

At time t = 0 , voltage across the first zener diode is increases linearly till it reaches it's breakdown voltage of 4   V , after that voltage increases linearly till it reaches the breakdown voltage of second zener diode, As soon as voltage across the zener diode reaches the breakdown voltage of 6   V of second zener diode, volatge becomes constant and doesn't change with time.
