Micro-nutrients are the minerals/elements which are required in less amount by the plants and thus are present in less quantity in the plants but these are as important as the macro-nutrients. Examples of micro-nutrients iron ( Fe ), manganese ( Mn ), copper $(\mathrm{Cu})$, zinc $(\mathrm{Zn})$, molybdenum (Mo), boron (B) and chlorine (Cl).
