Typhoid or Enteric fever is a bacteria borne disease caused by bacillus Salmonella typhii. It spreads through consumption of contaminated food and water. Main symptoms are high fever, headache, vomiting, loose stools, etc. Pneumonia is caused by three different strains of bacterium named Streptococcus pneumoniae, Pneumococcus pneumoniae and Diplococcus pneumoniae. Filarial worm cause filarial disease which is also called elephantiasis. The scientific name of worm is Wuchereria bancroft.
