Manganese activates enzymes of respiration, photosynthesis and nitrogen metabolism performing oxidation, reduction, decarboxylation, photolysis of water etc. Copper is activator of plastocyanin, cytochrome oxidase, RuBP carboxylase and many other enzymes.
