Compound ' X ' ( C ₄ H ₁₁ ~N ) reacts with nitrous acid to form ' Y ' ( C ₄ H ₁₀ ~N ₂ O ) . ' X ' on reaction with an excess of methyl iodide and then with moist silver oxide followed by heating gives trimethyl amine, propene and water. Compound ' X ' is
