Kingdom Fungi is divided into four classes depending upon mode of spore and frutingbodies formation and morphology of mycelium. These are Class Phycomycetes, Ascomycetes, Basidiomycetes, and Deuteromycetes. Basidiomycetes are Club fungi as they have a club shaped organ known as basidium.
