2-hexene shows geometrical isomerism since each carbon of the doubles bond has two different substituent [ CH ₃, H ] and [ H , CH ₂ CH ₂ CH ₃ ] . 3-hexyne being linear does not show geometrical isomerism. Cyclohexane, (cis-isomer) however, due to angle strain cannot get converted into the trans-isomers.
