Zinc finger analysis does not contribute to DNA fingerprinting. PCR is an automated procedure that generates lots of copies of a specific sequence of DNA, important in DNA fingerprinting. DNA hybridization- DNA fingerprinting, hypervariable and repetitive sequences are detected with hybridization probes.
