If root arises from radicle is called tap root and if root arises from other than radicals then it is called adventitious roots. Pneumatophores are found in those plants that grow in saline marshy/swampy areas. These are erect roots that rise up above the soil or water so they are negative geotropic roots and promote gas exchange. It is found in Mangroves plants.
