The sum to 101010terms of the series
11+12+14+21+22+24+31+32+34+…\dfrac{1}{1 + {1}^{2} + {1}^{4}} + \dfrac{2}{1 + {2}^{2} + {2}^{4}} + \dfrac{3}{1 + {3}^{2} + {3}^{4}} + \ldots1+12+141+1+22+242+1+32+343+…is :-
B. 55111\dfrac{55}{111}11155
We have,
11+12+14+21+22+24+31+32+34+…\dfrac{1}{1 + {1}^{2} + {1}^{4}} + \dfrac{2}{1 + {2}^{2} + {2}^{4}} + \dfrac{3}{1 + {3}^{2} + {3}^{4}} + \ldots1+12+141+1+22+242+1+32+343+…
Here,
tn=n1+n2+n4{t}_{n} = \dfrac{n}{1 + {n}^{2} + {n}^{4}}tn=1+n2+n4n
=n(n2+n+1)(n2−n+1)= \dfrac{n}{( {n}^{2} + n + 1 ) ( {n}^{2} - n + 1 )}=(n2+n+1)(n2−n+1)n
So,
t1=12(1−13){t}_{1} = \dfrac{1}{2}\left(1 - \dfrac{1}{3}\right)t1=21(1−31)
t2=12(13−17){t}_{2} = \dfrac{1}{2}\left(\dfrac{1}{3} - \dfrac{1}{7}\right)t2=21(31−71)
⋮⋮⋮⋮⋮⋮⋮⋮⋮⋮ ⋮ ⋮ ⋮ ⋮ ⋮ ⋮ ⋮ ⋮⋮⋮⋮⋮⋮⋮⋮⋮⋮
t10=12(191−1111){t}_{10} = \dfrac{1}{2}\left(\dfrac{1}{91} - \dfrac{1}{111}\right)t10=21(911−1111)
Now,
S10=t1+t2+t3+.....+t10{S}_{10} = {t}_{1} + {t}_{2} + {t}_{3} + . . . . . + {t}_{10}S10=t1+t2+t3+.....+t10
⇒S10=12(1−1111)⇒ {S}_{10} = \dfrac{1}{2}\left(1 - \dfrac{1}{111}\right)⇒S10=21(1−1111)
⇒S10=55111⇒ {S}_{10} = \dfrac{55}{111}⇒S10=11155
