When external torque acting on the system is zero then only the total angular mom entum of system is considered to be conserved. If L=Iω=L=I \omega= constant , τ=Iα=0\tau=I \alpha=0. ∴α=dωdt=0\therefore \quad \alpha=\frac{d \omega}{d t}=0 for constant ω\omega.
