Since mole fraction of solvent is 0.8 , it implies that 10   m o l e s of aqueous solution will have 8 moles of water and 2 moles of solute. ∴ 2   m o l e s of solute is present in → 8   m o l e s of water Or, 2 m o l e s of solute is present in → 8 × 18 g m of water 144   g m of water has 2 moles of solute 1   g m of water will have 2 144 m o l e s of solute 1   k g of water will have 2 144 × 1000 = 13.88   m o l e s ∴ Molality = 13.88   m
