Now | 3 i z + 6 | = | 3 i ( z - 2 i ) | = | 3 i | | z - 2 i | As we know that,   | z 1 z 2 | = | z 1 | | z 2 | From tha diagram we can see that, | 3 i z + 6 | = 3 | z - 2 i | is maximum at z = 3 + 2 i because a point on the circle, which has maximum distance from ( 0 , 2 ) is ( 3 , 2 ) .
