We have, (5+4cos⁡θ)(2cos⁡θ+1)=0(5+4 \cos \theta)(2 \cos \theta+1)=0...(i) cos⁡θ=1−tan⁡2θ21+tan⁡2θ2∴cos⁡θ=1−t21+t2\cos \theta=\frac{1-\tan ^2 \frac{\theta}{2}}{1+\tan ^2 \frac{\theta}{2}}\therefore \quad \cos \theta=\frac{1-t^2}{1+t^2} \quad\left[\right.putput\left.\tan θ2=\frac{\theta}{2}=t\right]Then, Eq.
